Newtec Point&Play®

This app guides a terminal installer through the complete installation process of a Newtec Dialog terminal, making maximum use of the sensors of the smartphone. It connects to the Newtec Dialog modem through its embedded Wi-Fi or through an external Wi-Fi access point. Key functionalities include:
- Augmented reality based site acceptance
- ODU and beam selection
- Assisted polarization alignment using smartphone sensors
- Assisted antenna alignment using smartphone sensors
- Precision pointing using graphical and audio feedback
- Installation storm proofing
- Integrated terminal certification

For proper application operation, the mobile phone must provide access to the following sensors:
- Accelerometer
- Gyroscope
- Magnetic compass
- GPS
