Marmara Urban Forum (MARUF)

Marmara Urban Forum, organized by Marmara Municipalities Union (MMU) with the motto "Cities Developing Solutions" in order to tackle global issues and local needs together, seek solutions to the challenges that cities face and multiply good practices at the global scale.
MARUF23 will bring together the public sector, private sector, civil society organizations, universities, local governments, and other relevant stakeholders.
MARUF23 will feature panels, concurrent sessions, roundtable meetings, workshops, exhibitions, field trips, movie screenings and many more over the course of 4 days. The main theme of MARUF23, "Resilience and Beyond," will explore the fundamental requirements for a sustainable and high-quality life in cities. Additionally, Marmara Municipalities Union will host World Metropolitan Day (7 October) this year in Istanbul within the framework of MARUF in partnership with Metropolis and UN-Habitat.
