The purpose of GuruWalk is to raise awareness of this alternative to paid tours by connecting free tour guides (Gurus) and tourists, thus promoting local development and sustainable tourism.

Seamless experience: Keeping the functionality active even when the app is in the background to avoid interruptions during the journey.
The location is only shared during the active tour and always with the user’s explicit consent. This functionality is key to providing a safe and convenient experience.
