EmpowerID

EmpowerID provides a 2-Factor Authentication solution to safeguard against threats arising from compromised credentials. It authenticates users by verifying their identity via their device. The authenticator receives push notifications for single-tap authentication and generates verification codes which can be used in offline mode.

For EmpowerID users, their account has to be linked to the device via the enrollment process. Please contact your organization administrator for additional details. Third party QR codes can be scanned at any time.

The mobile app requires permission to use the camera for exclusively scanning QR codes and permission to allow calls to retrieve device state information namely, JailBrokenStatus, DiskEncryptionStatus, and PinLockStatus.

EmpowerID Chatbot is an intelligent virtual assistant. You can interact with EmpowerID Chatbot to perform self-service identity and access management. It can also proactively reach out to users when it detects a need for user involvement, such as to notify them of new tasks to approve or if user's account has become locked out. Some of the other features of EmpowerID Chatbot include Create Person, Create Secrets or Credentials, Connect to Computer, etc.
