Bocconi Avvelenati APP

The phenomenon of the spread of poisoned bait or bait represents a risk for the animal population and constitutes a serious danger for the environment and for human beings, in particular for children. In this context, the National Portal for Poor Animal Poisoning is based on an idea of the Ministry of Health and carried out by the Experimental Zooprophylactic Institute of Lazio and Tuscany. The National App for Poor Poisonings is joined by the free App Bocconi Avvelenati . The app allows citizens to report in real time the discovery of potentially harmful suspect material (poisoned baits) and to visualize on the interactive maps of the National Portal of Animal Poisoning the potential risk associated with a given territory through the territorial distribution of cases established and reports received. The Portal and the App are the two innovative tools to allow the complete computerized management of cases of suspected poisoning as well as the constant monitoring of the phenomenon and its temporal and territorial characteristics. The portal and the App are coordinated by the National Reference Center of Forensic Veterinary Medicine and are supported by the collaboration of the national network of Zooprophylactic Institutes.
