Лоциус SQRE

The application "Locius SQRE" is a mobile supplement to the tourist Atlas of waterways of Russia "Locius" and is intended for quick transition by QR codes from the pages of the Atlas to the database "Locius" with information from the Atlas and to the site "Locius" or to the corresponding resources on the network Internet.

The Atlas of the Waterways of Russia is a series of paper albums called Locius, which are intended for boaters, yachtsmen and everyone who is fond of traveling across the water spaces of Russia. The Atlas is intended for small-sized people and will help to gain knowledge about the waterways of Russia, about the conditions and peculiarities of navigation in various regions, about hydraulic structures, bridges and crossings. With the help of the Atlas, tourists can plan their trips in advance, draw up an optimal route in accordance with interests and opportunities, choose places for parking, gas stations and replenishment of provisions. The Atlas contains the most significant natural, historical and cultural attractions to visit along the route.
Information and descriptions from the Atlas will help all lovers to get the most out of travel.

All the most significant information about waterways, as well as objects in the Atlas, are provided with special QR codes, by scanning them with the help of Locius SQRE, the user will be able to receive up-to-date data on the screen of a mobile device depending on the type of object (information):
- name of the property
- Address of the object
- a short description of the object
- geographical coordinates of the object (copying to the clipboard)
- telephones
- link
- link to social networks (if available)
- e-mail (if available)
- detailed description of the object (if any)
- photos of the object (if any)
- link to standard maps with object
- link to navigation maps (if available)
- routes "associated" with the object (if any)
- "related" to the object approaches (if any)
- tracks "associated" with the object from the audio guide (if any)
and other.
After the application recognizes the QR code, the user can select further actions with the information received directly from the main application window.

- using the zoom camera of the user's mobile device (if available)
- using the backlight of the user's mobile device (if available)
- recognition of QR codes from the gallery of photos on the user's mobile device

The above possibilities apply exclusively to QR codes placed in the Atlases of Russian Waterways "Locius", but also the Locius SQRE application allows you to recognize any standard QR codes.
